Miguel Cabrera's two run homer in the ninth the difference Tigers win 4-3

Tigers beat the Twins 4-3 on a Miguel Cabrera two run homer in the top of the ninth inning. Cabrera had his third RBI in the first inning an a single scoring Rookie Centerfielder Quintin Berry.

Minnesota scored runs in the fourth and two in the fifth inning. Detroit starter Rick Porcello pitched six innings allowing three runs and nine hits.

Berry led off the ninth with a single and stole second and scored on Cabrera's two run homer. Brayan Villarreal (1-1) received the win and Jose Valverde pitched a scoreless ninth for his ninth save.
