SmackDown began with Alberto Del Rio continuing to brag about his Royal Rumble victory until Kofi Kingston showed up to confront him. After words were exchanged, Kofi pulled out a kendo stick & got his payback from last week by cracking the stick on Alberto. Moments later, a match was made between the two and even though it was a competitive match, Del Rio managed to pull off a win with his arm lock submission.

In a one-on-one match, WWE Tag Team Champion Vladimir Kozlov with Santino Marella in his corner took on Justin Gabriel with the rest of the Corre at ringside. Despite Santino's efforts to stop the Corre from interfering, the numbers game caught up to the tag team champs as Gabriel finished off Kozlov with the 450 splash. After the match, Santino paid the price for his actions as The Corre stood tall in the ring.

As the next match was underway with Chris Masters, Drew McIntyre grabbed the mic and blamed Edge for Kelly Kelly being fired last week & that he would dedicate the match to her. As the match went on, both men tried for backslides, but Drew countered it into his future shock DDT to get the win.

For the first time ever, Rey Mysterio went one-on-one with Wade Barrett. A great match until Justin Gabriel ran down to distract Mysterio long enough for Barrett to execute his wasteland finisher to get the win. Just as the rest of the Corre was about to do more damage to Rey, the Big Show came down & almost cleaned house until Ezekiel Jackson knocked him down. After the Corre focused their attention on the Big Show, Ezekiel displayed his strength once again by suplexing the 7-footer as the Corre looked on, proud of what they had accomplished.

In a fairly quick match, JTG took on Kane. Although JTG tried his best, Kane was too much for him as he chockslammed JTG for the 1-2-3.

In divas action, Divas Champion Eve faced Layla with Michelle McCool at ringside. Even though, McCool tried to give Layla support, Eve found a way to turn the tables and roll up Layla for the win, leaving Lay-Cool with more questions than answers.

In the main event, World Heavyweight Champion Edge defended his title against Dolph Ziggler with Vicki Guerrero as the special guest referee. And of course, Vicki declared that the spear was banned. During the match, Vicki was so determined to have Edge lose the title that she went for a spear herself, but in doing so, she hurt her ankle & had to have the medics look at it. At that moment, Edge took advantage & speared Ziggler twice. Even though Vicki saw what happened, she was unable to do anything about it, therefore another referee came down. But to everybody's surprise, especially in the city of Green Bay, the Packers' Clay Matthews ran down as the new referee and counted Ziggler's shoulders for the three count. WWE & Packers fans celebrated as the World Heavyweight Champ & Super Bowl Champ stood in the ring with their respective belts.

Next week on Syfy, SmackDown will celebrate its 600th episode with the main event being a 12-man tag team match, involving all of the participants in this year's Elimination Chamber matches. It will feature World Heavyweight Champion Edge teaming up with John Cena, Randy Orton, John Morrison, R-Truth, & Rey Mysterio against Dolph Ziggler, Kane, King Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Corre member Wade Barrett, & Nexus leader, CM Punk.
