Wide receiver Tommy Shuler and quarterback Rakeem Cato capped their careers with record-setting performances in the inaugural Boca Raton Bowl to help the Marshall Thundering Herd tear down the Northern Illinois Huskies, 52-23.

Throwing for three TDs in the game, Cato tied an NCAA mark for touchdown passes and was voted the most valuable player.  Shuler had 18 receptions for 185 yards and broke the Conference USA record for career catches with 322.

Marshall finished the 2014 season at 13-1 while Northern Illinois wrapped up the season at 11-3.

Navy's kicker Austin Grebe made 24-yard field goal with 1:27 left in the game to help the Midshipemen earn a 17-16 victory against the San Diego State Aztecs at the Poinsettia Bowl in San Diego.

The Midshipmen's win became official after SDSU's kicker Donny Hageman went wide right on a 34-yard field goal attempt with 20 seconds left.

Navy finished at 8-5 despite losing four fumbles in the game while San Diego State (7-6) had three turnovers.
