Deontay Greenberry, already with two touchdown catches in that final 3:41, made a leaping catch in the back of the end zone for the two-point conversion as the Houston Cougars defeated the Pittsburgh Panthers at the Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, Texas, 35-34, after being down by 25 points. It's the largest comeback in an FBS game this season and the largest ever in a bowl game that didn't go into overtime.

Joshua Dobbs scored three touchdowns and Jalen Hurd ran for two more as the Tennessee Volunteers rolled past the Iowa Hawkeyes, 45-28, at the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida for their first postseason victory since the Phillip Fulmer era. The Vols (7-6) took the momentum early by scoring on their first four possessions and leading 28-0 before Iowa (7-6) managed 70 yards.

Even with a 31-6 halftime lead, the UCLA Bruins had to hold on to defeat the Kansas State Wildcats at the Alamo Bowl, 40-35. Kansas State (9-4) scored 22 of the first 25 points in the 2nd half before UCLA (10-3) countered with a late touchdown.

Mason Rudolph threw for 299 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Oklahoma State Cowboys to a 30-22 victory over the Washington Huskies at the Cactus Bowl in Tempe, Arizona. Washington's John Ross scored on a 96-yard kickoff return and Cyler Miles threw for 268 yards & a touchdown, but an interception ended their last-ditch drive.
