Corey Davis caught two touchdown passes as the Western Michigan Broncos stunned the Toledo Rockets, 35-30, thus sending Northern Illinois to the MAC championship game against Bowling Green next Friday night (Dec. 4) at Ford Field in Detroit.  WMU safety Asantay Brown was taken from the stadium on a backboard after a helmet-to-helmet.  School officials stated that Brown had feeling in his fingers and toes, but was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

Romello Ross scored four touchdowns as the Central Michigan Chippewas defeated the Eastern Michigan Eagles, 35-28.  EMU (1-11, 0-8 MAC) led 21-7 at halftime on two touchdown passes by Brogan Roback and a 35-yard interception return by Kyle Rachwal. Martez Walker had 119 yards rushing for Central, while Rush finished 25-of-39 for 391 yards and two touchdown passes.
