Chiefs shutout Texans; Bengals lose cool as Steelers advance

The Kansas City Chiefs used relentless pressure and forced five turnovers to shutout the Houston Texans on the road, 30-0, in the AFC Wild Card round. It's the Chiefs' first playoff win in 22 years and their winning streak extended to a NFL-best 11 games. Kansas City's defense forced Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer to throw four interceptions as well as recover a fumble.

Chris Boswell kicked a 35-yard field goal with 14 seconds left as the Pittsburgh Steelers pulled off a crazy 18-16 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Wild Card game. Pittsburgh moved into field goal position, thanks to consecutive 15-yard penalties on the Bengals: one on linebacker Vontaze Burfict for laying out Antonio Brown with his shoulder to his head, who would later suffer a concussion, and the other on cornerback Adam Jones for losing his cool after getting into it with Steelers assistant coach Joey Porter, who was attending to Brown with trainers. The Steelers, a 6th seed, moves on the Denver for the AFC Divisional round next Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm while Kansas City heads to New England next Saturday afternoon at 4:30 pm.
