Ian Kinsler scored from second base on a force play during a three-run 8th inning, then hit his 200th career homerun in the 9th inning as the Detroit Tigers rallied late to sweep the weekend series of the Tampa Bay Rays, 5-1, thus extending their winning streak to six games.

Justin Upton snapped a 1-1 tie with a two-run double for Detroit and Kinsler's 16th homerun of the season ended up being the deciding factor.

The Tigers will begin their 4th of July weekend with a three-game series at Cleveland. After falling nine straight times, Detroit looks to finally defeat the Indians, starting this Monday night at 7 pm.
