With unrest on campus, Eastern slips past Wyoming, 27-24

Ian Eriksen ran for a 15-yard touchdown with 1:35 left to help the Eastern Michigan Eagles get past the Wyoming Cowboys, 27-24, in Ypsilanti. After the game, students came onto the field in protest of racial graffiti, in reference to the KKK, sprayed on the campus walls on Tuesday.

Eriksen ran for 120 yards on 27 carries and EMU quarterback Brogan Robach led the winning play on a four-play, 47-yard drive.

The Eagles will start the month of October off with MAC conference action on the road next Saturday against Bowling Green at 3 pm.
