2017 MLB SEASON - 2ND HALF PREVIEW

Needless to say, the Detroit Tigers have a lot of work to do in order to get back in the playoff hunt. Unsure if they'll be able to keep key players, like Justin Verlander, before the trading deadline, Detroit (39-48) sits in 4th place in the American League Central Division and are eight games behind 1st-place Cleveland.

The Tigers look to come out strong to start the 2nd half of the season when they host Toronto in a 3-game weekend series at Comerica Park, which begins this Friday night at 7 pm. In the meantime, here how the 2017 MLB playoff picture looks at the All-Star break.....

2. Boston (50-39) [AL EAST]
3. Cleveland (47-40) [AL CENTRAL]
WILD CARDS: N.Y. Yankees (45-41) & Tampa Bay (47-43)

NATIONAL LEAGUE
1. L.A. Dodgers (61-29) [NL WEST]
2. Washington (52-36) [NL EAST]
3. Milwaukee (50-41) [NL CENTRAL]
WILD CARDS: Arizona (53-36) & Colorado (52-39)
